August/september update
Paul and I have been in North Carolina enjoying the cool weather and the beautiful Smokey Mountains. Every morning there’s a different scene. Some mornings the fog is low in the valley and we can see just the top of the mountains. It is so green here, but we can see the leaves starting to change to their beautiuul fall colors. The sunsets are absolutely spectacular.
Thom and Kelley are here with us at their family home that was built by Kelley’s grandfather in 1902. They have worked hard at fixing it up and it’s beautiful.
Jake, Kait and their children drove in from Texas to spend a week here in the mountains. So blessed to have some time with them.
Kadie is now attending Blinn College in College Station (which means Thom and Kelley are empty nester’s). Kadie is loving it. We miss her, but we know God has a great plan for her life, so she needs to get her education.
We will be heading home soon as we have to get ready for two FED’s in October. We are excited for these two events which will be in Las Vegas, NV and Everett, Washington. This year we will have Paul Edward’s first book entitled, IDENTITY. He and his whole family will be with us in Vegas. You will want to get this book! No doubt there is an identity crisis in this world, so we need God’s truth to help us know who we are.
Gretchen’s widow’s ministry is going so well. She has two websites, now. God is opening doors for her in ways she couldn’t have imagined. If you know a widow who needs encouraging or is lonely and needs someone to talk to, please check out her sites. She has written some wonderful blogs that will encourage and minister to anyone who reads them. mgrministries.org and ashesintobeauty.org
Thanks to everyone who prays for our ministry. We are so very grateful for God’s continual care and provision for us.
